      Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opening for a Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to support the team at the incoming premium lounge at Washington Dulles Int'l Airport in the Washington DC area. We are looking for a manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our growing team. Sodexo will be operating and managing this exclusive, luxury airport lounge. The lounge will offer top--tier amenities and expanded premium food and beverage offerings to it's elite guests. Position reports to the Executive Chef.

      The successful candidate will:

      • be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking;
      • supervision of large-scale batch cooking;
      • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
      • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
      • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
      • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

      Position Summary

      Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables. May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

      Key Duties- Executes the culinary function.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Handles administrative functions.

      Qualifications & Requirements
