Sodexo-Campus is growing and leading the change in Higher Education.

The Senior Director, Business Analytics/Knowledge works with business groups to gather data requirements and leads the effort in translating them into effective data analytics. This position will work to understand all facets of Sodexo’s data both internally and data provided externally from all enterprise POS vendors. The chosen candidate will assist to create and provide necessary information to enable stakeholders to effectively make data driven business decisions.

This position will oversee the data systems team, the data reporting and analytics team, to include CRM management.

The successful candidate will:

• Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analyses.
• Conducts data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused, or duplicate data.
• Reviews object and data models structures for better management and quicker access. (advanced Excel use including Pivot Tables).
• Assist in ensuring accurate and timely data for leadership team.
• Utilizes data modelling and design skills to integrate new data into the existing Warehouse as well as continuously re-evaluating existing Data Warehouse and Data Marts to ensure optimal performance.
• Assists team in gathering business, reporting, and analytical requirements and designing solutions to meet needs.
• Works closely with the user community, technical staff and team members to develop reporting and analysis specifications and troubleshoot reported problems with Reporting, Dashboards, and other dependent systems.
• Works directly with Business and IS&T resources to define best practices for implementing Data Warehouses.
• Assists the Systems Architecture and DBA teams in developing approaches to maintaining optimized Data Warehouse solutions, including strategies for aggregation and other derived structures.
• Provide input and recommendations on design/technical issues to project manager/senior managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience: 7 yearsBasic Functional Experience: 10 years
